Best I've spent is 10k on a Superior Vigor! What was weird was that the trader was buying them for 22k at the time! He took a loss on that one, but he willingly did it!

The phantom key I bought wich got me a 15^50 req 9 storm bow that I sold a few hours later for 200k that I used to pay for my last few ectos and crafting my fissure armor

ohhh i dunno...
mb almost all sets of 15k and few sets of fow armor i crafted for 4 my chars... but if we're talking about weapons - prolly best gold i ever spend was few plat for fow entrance where i got nicest items from chests and from mob, and definitely few hundreds plat i've spend on my necro's offhands collection... i dont have war or ranger chars atm so i never had a chance to spend crazy amount of gold on 1 bow or sword

A guy offered up a perfect base req 8 Chaos Axe for like 65k. I immediately said I'd buy it and went to make a trade and was told that someone offered more. I countered and it got to a little over 200k and I got it. Added mods and a week later I sold it for a little over 800k.
1500 for an obsidian key that got me a req 9 Choas 15>50.

Bought a req. 8 15>50 Half Moon (Fiery Defense +5) for 20k ...
I tried to tell the guy it was worth more than that, but he wouldn't hear it. I had just done some skill capping with him (hell, we both needed it) and this was his way of saying "thank you" I still made him take an extra 10k, just for being so dang nice
